A beautiful wine the striking 2010 Chardonnay Sea Smoke is totally complete from the very first taste. Here it is the textural richness and depth of the flavors that impress most. Juicy apricots ash licorice dried pears and dried flowers are woven together in a fabric of unusual grace and class. Burnished tones frame the finish. Sadly this is the last vintage of Brewer-Clifton's Sea Smoke Chardonnay as Sea Smoke has decided to stop selling fruit to other wineries. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014. - Antonio Galloni
