Aged in 60% new and 40% one-wine old barrels. This truly transcends in the glass when you taste the concentration of crushed blackberry and raspberry. When the chocolate element emerges it's almost like sipping a ruby port that wasn't fortified. Thanks to the calcareous portion of the parcel this "tour de force" exhibits a dry cleansing finish. This powerful and seductive wine is not your "old-school" claret. Its exuberance may be enjoyed upon released but will benefit from cellaring 2 to 6 years.
