The 2010 Manyetes wears the “Vi de Villa Gratallops”, village wine on the label, as it is from Carinena vineyards in the village of Gratallops. The bright purple-colored 2010 has a complex nose of wet slate, graphite and peat intermixed with blueberries, violets and licorice aromas in a very harmonious way. The palate is deliciously rustic, with polished tannins, great acidity, pure flavors and a very long aftertaste. Overall it’s a very pleasant, rustic, elegant red, which could be drunk now with powerful food or aged slowly in bottle. It represents good value for money. Drink now-2025. - Luis Gutierrez
