This is a full-bodied powerful effort displaying abundant aromas of kirsch liqueur intermixed with loamy soil earth and spice. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated with light to moderate tannins it should drink well for 10-15 years.

Toasty and flattering offering lots of mocha and black licorice up front followed by lush plum sauce and blackberry cobbler notes with solid grip underneath. -J.M.

Oak coffee licorice smoke chocolate and jammy berries open to a plush ripe round wine that should drink well shortly after release.

On the nose exciting notes of plum violet and rose petal are followed by raspberry crushed rock and gravel. The palate is medium to full bodied with a noticeable amount of alcohol though the wine is nicely structured displaying creamy tannins mid palate acidity and a lingering finish. Give this wine 2-3 years in bottle upon release and enjoy over the next 10-15 years.
