All of the elements are in the right place. A striking bouquet melds into endless waves of fruit all supported by the finest and silkiest of tannins. It's all there in the glass. In my view the Cazetiers is the signature wine for the domaine. No one does Cazetiers better than Christian Serafin. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2030. - Antonio Galloni

Large-scaled rich and strong with an element of peppery acidity giving verve to the middle palate. This young full-bodied wine is most impressive today on the very long strong finish which features substantial suave tannins and terrific savory grip.

A somber, cool and very restrained nose offers up notes of plum, dark berries, pungent earth and that distinct sauvage character of a fine Cazetiers. There is a lovely mineral streak to the powerful and almost painfully intense big-bodied flavors that offer excellent richness and drive on the strikingly long finish. This is a terrific effort but I underscore that it's unapologetically built for the long haul and cellaring is an absolute must.
