Aged all in tank, it boasts a complex array of sweet red berry fruits, white pepper, wild flowers, and licorice that flows to a full-bodied, seamless, and elegantly put together wine that has beautiful concentration, incredible purity, and very fine, polished tannin that frame the finish. Lovers of traditionally made Châteauneuf-du-Pape should not miss this and it is the essence of Grenache when made in a more feminine, elegant style. It is certainly superb now, yet will be even better in 3-5 years, and shine for 15-20 years.

It should start to be approachable in another 2-4 years and have three decades of overall longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck

The texture is pure lushness. The wine is balanced, rich and like all great Southern Rhone wines, you can enjoy it now, or age it for more of a secondary, evolved experience. There is no touch of heat, this is just pure Chateauneuf pleasure. Read more at:https://www.thewinecellarinsider.com/search-wine-tasting-notes/?szSearch=2010+Ferrand+Chateauneuf

Sexy, spice-accented aromas of red berry preserves and potpourri, with a hint of spicecake in the background. Lively and precise on the palate, offering sweet red berry flavors that become richer and deeper with air. Silky tannins add shape to the very long, focused, floral-dominated finish. Shows a lot of sex appeal now but this densely packed, balanced wine is built to age. -- Josh Raynolds

Rock-solid, with a frame of licorice snap and charcoal notes, featuring a core of crushed plum, pastis-soaked blackberry and linzer torte flavors.
