Musky sweaty aromas of raspberry pomegranate pink peppercorn cumin and dried rose. Suave on entry then juicy and fine-grained but imploded in the middle with an almost citrussy impression of acidity giving the wine sharp definition. Finishes with terrific verve and lift. Mild reduction doesn't completely dominate the ripe plum and earth suffused nose. There is outstanding richness to the textured mouth coating and quite concentrated broad-shouldered flavors that brim with an abundance of dry extract all wrapped in a hugely long and powerful finish. There is great potential here though note that plenty of patience will be required.
