The Rossignol vines in Teurons are beautifully situated at the top of the slope in this vineyard and right along the border with Les Cras which is the chalkiest section of this fine premier cru. The 2010 is exceptional offering up a complex bouquet of red plums cherries dusty rose a complex base of soil coffee and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep fullish and very pure on the attack with very good mid-palate depth lovely intensity of flavor and impressive complexity and grip on the moderately tannic and very tangy finish. This has the silky seamlessness on the backend that is the calling card of the top domaines in the 2010 vintage. 2016-2040+.
