The estate’s take on a southern Rhone blend, and a mix of 69% Grenache, 23% Mourvedre, 4% Syrah and 4% Counoise, the 2010 Veracity is a beauty. Fermented in a combination of concrete and stainless steel, and aged for 18 months in 41% new French oak barrels and puncheons, it offers up a full-bodied, rich, yet structured profile, with sweet black and red fruits, chalk, lavender and subtle herbes de Provence-like aromas and flavors. Beautifully put together, with solid mid-palate depth and a chewy, broad finish that highlights ripe tannin, it will shine for 5-7 years, possibly longer. It needs decanting if drinking anytime soon. Drink 2014-2020. - Jeb Dunnuck

Presents a complex, graceful mix of blackberry, black licorice and boysenberry pie scents, yet for all its apparent ripeness this remains elegant and ends with a more subtle, nuanced finish, right down to the crushed rock... Complex, inviting aromas of black raspberry, lavender, licorice and smoky oak. Dense, sweet and seamless, with noteworthy intensity and precision to the flavors of red and dark berries, cracked pepper and Indian spices. Finishes vibrant and very long, with silky tannins and excellent lift.

Connoisseur's Guide, July 2013
We suspect that this very ripe and very rich wine will be a bit polarizing giving the debate over ripeness these days, but those willing to look past its declared 15.9% alcohol will be amazed at the depth and complexity... We suspect that this very ripe and very rich wine will be a bit polarizing giving the debate over ripeness these days, but those willing to look past its declared 15.9% alcohol will be amazed at the depth and complexity that this one affords. It is uncommonly well-structured for the full and fleshy wine that it is, and it stays well away from the brink of excess. It may be asking to too much of it to find subtle nuance with age, but it has room for growth and should continue to evolve for another half-dozen years.
