Wine Spectator - Wine Spectator, April 2013
An expression of pure cherry highlights this delicate, silky red. Vibrant and intense, with well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish of sweet fruit, spice and mineral. Best from 2015 through 2024. – BS

Reticent aromas of dark cherry and crushed stone show a building spice character with air; less exuberant than the Champs Fulliot. Lovely definition and lift to the youthfully closed flavors of pomegranate cherry and orange zest. Finishes firmly tannic and closed but with excellent energy and subtle lingering perfume. These south-facing vines were picked at the beginning of the harvest.

This is very pinot with a highly expressive nose of ripe cherry and raspberry that is cut with notes of wet stone and earth. The medium-bodied flavors are attractively rich and very supple on the mid-palate yet tighten up significantly on the firmer serious and persistent finish where a touch of wood influence arrives just at the end.

Wine Enthusiast - Wine Enthusiast, April 2013
This is a structured, fruity wine that has ripe strawberry and red plum flavors. Its tannins are condensed at the core, and the finish is marked by refreshing acidity. The vineyard is wholly owned by Faiveley.
