A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc the Franc-Mayne has a very attractive well defined nose with pure red-berried fruit: raspberry and crushed strawberry with underlying sous-bois. The palate displays very fine tannins good acidity with lively raspberry mulberry and wild strawberry fruit on the structured finish. This is a very fine Saint Emilion for the vintage.
