Reviews for 2010 L'Etoile de Bergey Bordeaux Blend

WS 92
Wine Spectator - Wine Spectator, March 2011
This is intriguing with a flash of mesquite up front followed by tangy damson plum ripe linzer torte and lush blackberry notes all mingling though the anise- and tar-filled finish. A very solid second wine. -J.M.

Loads of blueberry and currants and minerals. Full and refined but a little short.

From vines with an average age of 35 years. Meaty aromas with good blue fruit are concentrated on the nose along with sour red cherry. Supple and weightless on the palate this finishes with good floral lift. A terrific value that will drink well in 3-5 years an over the next 10+. Yummy!
