The 2010 Ermitage le Meal Blanc is pure perfection in a glass. One of the densest, most concentrated, decadent and thrilling whites I've tasted, it offers a sensational bouquet of crème caramel, caramelized peach, crushed rock and smoke. Unctuous and chewy on the palate, with awesome depth of fruit, it has thrilling purity, laser focus and a finish that just won't quit. White wine does not get any better and it will have an incredible 50+ years of longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck

Bright yellow. Captivating aromas and flavors of lime zest pear minerals and white flowers lifted by a spicy topnote. Dense juicy and penetrating offering serious flavor intensity. Dense juicy and penetrating offering serious flavor intensity. Very rich but almost shockingly lithe finishing very tight and firm. This graceful wine should age well on its balance but it's pretty compelling right now.
