The 2010 Unus hails from a vineyard that dates back to 1928 and was grown during a cool, dry year. A vivid purple in the glass. The expressive nose offers notes of oak and herbs along with blackcurrant, sour cherry and hints of mint over a core of dried flowers. In the mouth, the tannins are firm, sculpting an attractive, juicy palate. Will improve in the bottle, but wait until it develops a bouquet and complete harmony.
