Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, March 2021

It was disgorged in April 2020 with 4.5 grams per liter dosage. Given its generous style, this is a vintage that will drink quite well young. - William Kelley

Decanter, June 2021
From an atypical vintage yielding very rounded wines, with some fat. 'We were worried that it would evolve too quickly, but there is no evolutionary trace', Philipponnat remarked. More butter and less white stone fruit...   From an atypical vintage yielding very rounded wines, with some fat. 'We were worried that it would evolve too quickly, but there is no evolutionary trace', Philipponnat remarked. More butter and less white stone fruit, but with refined texture. While not as exciting as the Blanc de Noirs, this wine – disgorged in April 2020 with 4.5 g/litre of dosage – comes across like Meursault with pétillance, as 40% of the Chardonnay from Premiers and Grands Crus vineyards had been vinified in small Burgundy oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation maintains energy.
