A fresh and moderately rustic nose of red and dark berry fruit aromas is replete with various warm earth nuances that also suffuse the supple and almost surprisingly round flavors that are easy to like yet solidly complex. The mildly austere finale is well balanced and persistent and I suspect that this will in all likelihood tighten up significantly as the underlying structure is deceptively agreeable at present. A lovely villages that should drink well after 6 to 8 years of bottle age. Outstanding Top value.
