A very fresh and distinctly cool nose offers up notes of bright red currant and plenty of stone influence that continues onto the detailed and racy yet fleshy medium weight flavors that possess fine balance and excellent persistence on dusty and refined finish. This is an elegant Beaune with exceptionally fine tannins.

Supple on entry and plump in the middle but with a slight edge of acidity keeping the sour cherry flavor under wraps today. Finishes with dusty tannins and a slightly green acid impression. Rather uncompromising wine missing the sweetening influence of a bit more new oak. An awkward showing today.
