This is the most complete of these Morey 1ers with a superbly complex nose that combines a number of floral elements together with spiced plum and red berry liqueur aromas. There is that wonderful inner mouth perfume to the detailed and notably powerful middle weight flavors where the supporting structural elements are phenolically mature all wrapped in a backward and distinctly austere finish. This will need time to shed its youthful awkwardness but this should be excellent in time. - Comments: Outstanding ♥

The 2010 Morey St. Denis Les Faconnieres saturates every corner of the palate with tremendous depth in its fruit. It possesses striking minerality which serves to balance some of the wine's more overt bold tendencies. The high percentage of clay in this site gives the wine its broad shoulders.
