It's an elegant pinot noir with punchy length. Not quite a peacock's tail but not far from it. Dark cherries with a lighter, redder, strawberried lift. Forest floor. Saucy soy. Saucy soy. Spicy, stemmy tannin but simultaneously silken. The flavours are all crushed and autumnal through the finish - pleasingly so. Needs a few years to show its best, but a very strong release.
