A notably ripe nose of essence of cassis plum and stone leads to round delicious and concentrated middle weight flavors that possess plenty of mouth coating extract that imparts a velvety texture to the impressively rich and persistent finish. There is a bit more underlying material but it's delivered with the typical refinement of a classic Bressandes. Lovely. - Comments: Sweet spot Outstanding ♥

89-91? The 2010 Pavelot Bressandes is again very black fruity in aromatic and flavor profile at the present time (a function of the recent racking?) but deep and complex on the nose as it offers up scents of cassis black cherries woodsmoke French roast and a touch of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep full-bodied and very closed with fine mid-palate depth firm tannins and very good length and grip on the finish. This is not showing a whole lot of style right now but I assume this is just a result of the recent assemblage.
