Potent nose suggests dark cherry, violet and pipe tobacco, plus a hint of Indian spices. Then big, rich and sappy on the palate, with a bitter medicinal quality to its dark fruit and floral pastille flavors. The very long, youthfully taut finish lingers with noteworthy persistence and strong spiciness.
