It's the acidity that I find distracting. It helps give the wine a refreshing quality but it also pokes out and distracts. It otherwise tastes of blackberry jubes and coffee grounds woody herbs and cream. The fruit is... It's the acidity that I find distracting. It helps give the wine a refreshing quality but it also pokes out and distracts. It otherwise tastes of blackberry jubes and coffee grounds woody herbs and cream. The fruit is black the integration of oak excellent. It feels for the most part beautifully balanced. Ripe - and not overripe - and in the sweet spot flavour/weight-wise. The acidity had me scratching my head a little.
