The 2010 Bianco Adarmando mixes notes of almond paste, hazelnut, vanilla custard and tangerine to form its beguiling and deeply sensual bouquet. Within I’m finding glycerol-like textures matched by succulently ripe orchard fruits, all offset by a core of salty minerals and savory spice. This just goes on and on, traversing notes of crushed hazelnut, mulled apple, cantaloupe and dried peach. The 2010 Adarmando is a testament to Trebbiano Spoletino’s ability to mature in a very positive way for over a decade, maintaining incredible freshness and verve.
