Coming from a 4.9 acre plot of clay, loam and shale soils that lies near the Block M plantings, the 2011 Pinot Noir Terraces shows the house perfume and elegance, with rich red currants, stems (this cuvee saw roughly 30% whole cluster), pepper, rose petal and underbrush all emerging from the glass. Deep, layered and textured on the palate, with a great mid-palate and fine tannin, this is similar to the Block M in its depth and structure. Give bottles another year or two and enjoy through 2021. Drink 2014-2021. - Jeb Dunnuck
