Reviews for 2011 Belgrave Bordeaux Blend
Wine Enthusiast - Wine Enthusiast, April 2012
This is a dark wine that's dominated by firm and dry tannins. It has weight and power with juicy plum flavors showing slowly under the tannins. Shows long-aging potential. R.V.
James Suckling - jamessuckling.com, April 2012
A wine with velvety tannins and a lots of blueberries on the nose and palate. Full body soft and structured. Nicely done for the vintage.

52% merlot 41% cabernet sauvignon 3% cabernet franc and 4% petit verdot. This 59-hectare estate is situated at the very edge of the Haut Medoc separated from St. Julien by a small stream. Average vine age is 25+ years planted in deep gravel over clay subsoil. Wines are aged 12-15 months in oak barrels. Brooding dark color. Ripe red fruit on the nose along with hints of chocolate and dusty earth. Medium to full-bodied red berry and cassis flavors explode on the dense mouth-coating palate. Spicy tannins emerge on the finish completing an attractive package. Enjoy over the next 3-10 years.
