It has richness and a fine balance between fruit, structure and the elegant acidity that lifts the wine. It’s still young and will be best after at least 4–5 years of aging.

Vibrant, with white peach, tangerine, quinine and salted butter notes, all framed by a mouthwatering shortbread edge. The long finish delivers hints of paraffin and heather. Drink now through 2020. – JM

Barrel fermented and aged in 50% new oak from vines planted in deep gravel soils. Pale yellow gold, with unmistakeable white Bordeaux aromas of crushed rocks, quince, lemon marmalade, and grassy elements that meld well with the gravel aromas. Clean on the palate, with bright acidity yielding to a fat midpalate that gives this a nice unctuous quality. Finishes with more pulverized rocks and rock candy flavors. No need to wait on this one, enjoy from 2014-2017.

A wine with layers of mineral, lime and honey character. It’s full-bodied but bright and lively, with beautiful acidity. Drink now or hold.
