This well-known estate owned by the Duboscq family displays a deep ruby color along with some of the toasty oak that has long been a component part of this cuvee. With slightly more depth than many wines in its class, it possesses medium body, plenty of sweet ripe fruit and an attractive texture. This successful effort is a sleeper of the vintage.
