Tor's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard is outrageously beautiful. Dark, powerful and shockingly intense, the 2011 is in great shape. All the Howell Mountain signatures are there. Gravel, incense, tobacco, spice, scorched earth, leather and game literally explode out of the glass. The 2011 is brooding and maybe a bit burly in its tannins, but at ten years out, in this very uneven year, who cares? -- Antonio Galloni
