Boillot's 2011 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Canet is a bit creamier and richer on the palate than the Referts. Sweet spices, almonds and white stone fruits all flesh out in an inviting, layered Burgundy of notable class. Bright and focused, yet also generous, the Champs Canet shows off terrific balance, richness and resonance all the way through to the close. This is another very pretty wine from Boillot.

Rich and smooth, with peach, lime, nut oil and spice aromas and flavors. Shows intensity and persistence, with a spicy finish. Mouthwatering. Best from 2016 through 2023. – BS
