A wonderfully complex nose features notes of white pepper wet stone soft spice notes and plenty of floral influence. There is excellent freshness and energy to the tension-filled precise and acceptably concentrated flavors that terminate in a dry clean pure and focused finish that delivers impressive persistence. This is not the densest wine in the range but the length is first-rate. ♥ - Comments: Outstanding

The 2011 Chablis Vaillons is impeccable from start to finish. Layers of yellow stone fruits caress the palate in this overt yet highly sophisticated wine. The underlying minerality is present but the fruit is so intense those elements are virtually hidden. Hints of slate gunpowder and smoke appear on the vibrant close.
