Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is slightly lighter on the nose than Forrey’s Clos de Léchet, although it has superb delineation and focus, with a subtle estuarine influence. The palate is well balanced with nicely judged acidity, focused and feminine, with citrus lemon and a hint of orange rind on the saline finish. This is very composed and graceful. - Neal Martin
