A slightly riper mix of black pinot fruit, earth, spice and exotic tea aromas gives way to vibrant, clean and appealingly detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess fine intensity before culminating in a long, mildly austere and well-balanced finish. The supporting tannins are clearly ripe and this has the potential to be quite good yet drink well young too.

Elegant translucent garnet/purple hue. Aromas of black tea and black cherries dominate on the nose, with undertones of crushed rock and dusty tilled earth. Aromas of black tea and black cherries dominate on the nose, with undertones of crushed rock and dusty tilled earth. On the palate this is an elegant wine with a silky mouthfeel. The minerality and black cherry carry through on the palate, however the fruit quality is more cranberry dominated. Showing lively acidity, the tannins are fine and integrated, finishing long and lithe. Drinking well now and for the next 5-10 years.
