There is lovely freshness to the plum and dark berry liqueur-like aromas that are nuanced by hints of anise, clove and sandalwood. I like the intensity and mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors that possess good if not truly depth on the mocha-infused and again slightly austere finish. The tannins are firm without being hard or rustic though again I would be inclined to drink this before the tannins are completely resolved as it risks drying out in time. 2018+
