As is typically the case with a classic Mont de Milieu there are exotic fruit aromas along with floral, citrus and iodine notes though there is still a niggling amount of sulfur in the background. There is serious richness to the full-bodied and muscular flavors that possess plenty of mouth coating dry extract. There is stunning depth if not quite the same length as that displayed by the Montée de Tonnerre but this could easily change with a few years of bottle age.
