(BH89-92 points) Other than possessing a slightly ripe aromatic profile this is otherwise quite similar to the straight villages. There is outstanding size, weight and punch to the concentrated medium-bodied flavors that also exude a fine minerality on the citrusy, cool, pure, linear and equally well-balanced finish. As I note the two wines share similar characteristics but there is just a bit more supporting material here. In both cases though, the quality is absolutely terrific.
