Aromas of blackberry and black cherry mix with subtle notes of crushed rock and just a hint of cigar box. Polished and elegant on the palate, the dark fruit is framed nicely by soft tannins and just enough acidity to keep the wine lively through a long finish. A wonderfully unique blend of 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Montepulciano, this is a full-bodied, lush wine that drinks well above its humble price point. A serious Italian value.
