Notes of herbal tea and a distinct sauvage character add breadth to the decidedly earthy aromas of various red berries, plum and spice. There is a caressing mouth feel to the lightly mineral-inflected flavors that retain fine mid-palate concentration that carries over to the sleek, balanced and unusually refined as well as sneaky long finish. Note that this is still on the way up and I would suggest holding off for at least another few years first or if not, then decanting the wine for 30+ minutes.
