The 2011 Pouilly-Fuisse Terroir de Vergisson is a blend of three plots: La Roche (60%), Les Cres (15%) and Les Crux (around 30-35%). It has an exquisite bouquet with superb delineation: white peach, nectarine and a touch of honeysuckle but very understated and tightly coiled. The palate has a subtle spicy note on the entry, and very fine acidity, perhaps a little austere at first but unfolding beautifully on the sensual finish. It is the kind of Pouilly-Fuisse that tempts you into immediate consumption, but it will age. Drink now-2020. - Neal Martin
