Checking in as a kitchen sink blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 11% Syrah, 8% Sangiovese, 6% Petit Verdot and a splash of Grenache, the 2011 Red has impressive concentration and depth to go with notions of black raspberry, hot sauce, spice and wild herbs. Aged 18 months in 45% new French oak, it has medium-bodied richness, solid underlying structure and will have an easy 7-8 years of longevity. It might even improve with another year in the cellar. - Jeb Dunnuck
