Alkaline, fresh lime and faintly fusel as well as dank scents rise from the glass of Weinbach 2011 Riesling Cuvee Theo. A palate juicy with apple and honeydew melon incorporates piquant impingements of huckleberry and lime zest as well as an intriguingly mineral undertone. The surprisingly tart edge, along with aforementioned piquancy, lends invigoration to a finish of modest sheer length. I would plan to enjoy this by 2016. - David Schildknecht
