A brilliant Pinot Noir that has a core of sweet fruit that’s balanced out by savory, mineral-like qualities, the 2011 Sierra Mar Vineyard has a medium-bodied mouthfeel, plenty of texture and juicy acidity. Slightly plump and upfront, this friendly beauty is hard to resist, and I see no reason to either. Enjoy bottles over the coming 5-6 years. Drink now-2019.- JD
