A more deeply pitched nose offers up notes of plum, dark berry liqueur and plenty of earth influence. The supple and very rounded medium weight flavors display good minerality and fine volume before culminating in a powerful and lingering finish. As Pitures often is this is a big and imposing wine with fine concentration and only a trace of backend dryness that will very probably round out in time.
