James Suckling - jamessuckling.com, February 2015
A solid white with sliced apple, pineapple and lime aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, layered and intense. Dense fruit palate and a tangy finish. Excellent. Drink or hold.

(NM90-92 points) Tasted from a barrel sample at en primeur. A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon, the Latour-Martillac Blanc has an effervescent bouquet with great delineation and a sorbet-like freshness. The palate is nicely balanced with plenty of tropical tinged fruit, although it needs to evolve just a little more tension on the finish. Very fine.

Wine Enthusiast - Wine Enthusiast, October 2014
Steely and tight, it has intense acidity, a dense texture and powerful green apple and grapefruit flavors. The wine is still finding its way, suggesting considerable potential for long-term aging. Drink from 2018.

The 2012 LaTour-Martillac Blanc has a clean, well-defined bouquet with citrus lemon, yellow flowers and light chalky scents. The palate is fresh and lively on the entry, bright with a touch of spice, greengage and gooseberry notes flowing towards the sustained finish. This is a delightful white Bordeaux from LaTour-Matillac. Tasted January 2016. - Neal Martin

Wine Spectator - Wine Spectator, March 2015
A bright, pure style, with a fleur de sel note leading the way for lemon zest, pink grapefruit, white peach and honeysuckle flavors that knit nicely and bounce through the finish. Drink now through 2017.
