The 2012 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is usually one of the first to be picked as the terroir has a propensity to accelerate ripeness more than others. It has a light chalky bouquet with touches of lime and a faint hint of white asparagus. The palate is very well-balanced with a fine line of acidity, crisp lime and green apple fruit with a precise and slight short finish. Still, there is good energy contained in this Chablis.
