Ineffable aromas of perfumed red fruits, dried flowers and truffley underbrush, complicated by a saline quality. Supple and seamless on the palate, showing a restrained sweetness to its flavors of red berries, smoke and earth. Finishes with dusty tannins and a lingering oakiness. Doesn't show quite the exhilarating floral lift of the Chaignots but possesses strong material. 91+

Fresh and bright on the nose with dark red fruits, spice and forest floor elements. Full of fresh fruit on the palate and showing lovely, youthful energy, this picks up floral traces and earthiness towards the back end. ... Fresh and bright on the nose with dark red fruits, spice and forest floor elements. Full of fresh fruit on the palate and showing lovely, youthful energy, this picks up floral traces and earthiness towards the back end. Displays good concentration and focus with a finish that is medium to long. Quite vibrant and precise from beginning to end though a few more years in bottle will allow this to truly shine. Approachable now with some decanting, drink now and over the next 10-15 years.
