The 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Goulots offers a sensual bouquet with dried rose petals and pot pourri infusing the pure and heady redcurrant and fresh strawberry fruit aromas. The palate is very harmonious with good concentration, demonstrating a little more weight and presence than the Cherbaudes, building gently to a convincing, lightly spiced finish.
