The nose provides classic notes of lime and honeydew melon, along with dried apricot and pear, all with almond and toasted oak running behind it. As it should, this wine wakes up the palate with orange/tangerine, tart grapefruit, and mouthwatering minerality. At its current stage, the relatively tempered acidity leads to a lingering finish of oak along with crushed rock. Great texture and body – shows the traits of a barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc. A wine to be enjoyed with food, pair with white fish or rotisserie chicken. Drink now and over the next few years.
