Leading off the Bordeaux blends, the 2012 The Creator (mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, yet with 30% Syrah) exhibits lots of tobacco leaf, damp herbs and wet stone-like notes to go with a core of cassis, graphite and lead pencil. Coming 58% from the River Rock Vineyard and 42% from Jack's Vineyard (both of which are in Walla Walla), this full-bodied, classically structured, age-worthy 2012 will have upward of two decades of longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck

This wine is Cabernet Sauvignon (72%) and Syrah (30%), with the fruit hailing from both River Rock and Jack's vineyards.
