(WA91-93 points) The 2012 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrieres, which is from the domaine and was one of the first to be picked, has better precision on the nose compared to the Charmes. The palate is well-balanced with a tang of bitter lemon on the entry. There is good tension here - a little compactness toward the finish, but that should ultimately mellow and open up. The finish is long and spicy, forming one of Jadot-s most accomplished Meursault 2012s. - Neal Martin

There is a background note of sulfur on the otherwise fresh and naturally exotic nose that offers up plenty of spice character on the citrus blossom and white fleshed fruit scented aromas. There is fine volume and very good mid-palate concentration to the detailed and mineral influenced flavors that deliver solid length on the markedly dry and moderately austere finale. Note that moderate patience will be required. 2018+
