Consistent with the 2012 vintage this is notably ripe with its array of plum, violet, dark cherry and cassis scents. There is excellent richness to the very round, velvety and seductive-textured middle weight flavors that are supported by phenolically mature tannins that presently coat the palate on the dusty, moderately firm and delicious finale. This is one of those wines that easily could be enjoyed young or held for 4 to 7 years to allow a bit more complexity to develop. In sum, this is quite good and worth checking out if you enjoy a richer and generously proportioned style of burgundy. 2019+
